Sound Mind

Sound Mind

The Orpheus Choir of Toronto regrets that it must postpone its May 9th concert, Sound Mind, at Grace Church on-the-Hill.

While we are disappointed that we cannot round out our 2019/20 season with this wonderful program, our paramount concern is for the well-being of you, our audience, along with that of our choristers, guest artists, staff, and volunteers. We thank you for your patience in this time of global uncertainty.

In the near future, we will announce our programming for the 2020/21 season and a new date for Sound Mind.

If you have already purchased tickets to Sound Mind or are a subscriber, please consider one of the following options:

GIFT your ticket back to the Orpheus Choir. If you do not want a tax receipt or refund, no further action is required.

DONATE your ticket for a tax receipt for the full amount of your ticket.

REFUND for the full value of your ticket.

Someone will be in touch with you to confirm your preference.

If you have any concerns, please contact us at 416-530-4428 or

Sound Mind

Delve into the creativity, mania and genius inspired by the works of 19th-century mystic William Blake in Canadian composer Allan Bevan’s Ancient of Days. In recognition of Mental Health Week, Orpheus presents the Toronto premiere of this multimedia choral experience along with premieres by Hussein Janmohamed and Anna Pidgorna – a swirl of thoughts and emotions in our never-ending pursuit of a sound mind.
