Lee Clapp

Toronto-based tenor, Lee Clapp, is equally at home in opera, concert, and choral repertoire. Recent stage credits include Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte with the Muskoka Opera Festival and Ufficiale in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera 5.

Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Lee has returned in recent years to sing with the Kingston Choral Society and Orchestra Kingston, performing in Mozart’s Requiem, as Nanki-poo in The Mikado, and as a soloist in a concert of Gilbert & Sullivan.

Lee completed his graduate studies in Opera and Voice at McGill University, has participated in the St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea Opera Workshop, and has performed at the Berkeley Early Music Festival.  In addition to being a Sidgwick Scholar with Orpheus Choir of Toronto, Lee sings as tenor lead with the VOCA Chorus of Toronto and with the choir of Grace Church on-the-Hill.
