Lee Clapp

Toronto-based tenor, Lee Clapp, is equally at home in opera, concert, and choral repertoire. Recent stage credits include Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte with the Muskoka Opera Festival, Ufficiale in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera 5, and Grimoaldo in Handel’s Rodelinda with Opera McGill.

Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Lee has returned in recent years to sing with the Kingston Choral Society and Orchestra Kingston, performing in Mozart’s Requiem, as Nanki-poo in The Mikado, and as a soloist in a Gilbert & Sullivan Sing-along.

Lee completed his graduate studies in Opera and Voice at McGill University, has participated in the St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea Opera Workshop, and has performed at the Berkeley Early Music Festival. He currently sings with Toronto’s VOCA Chorus and the choir of Grace Church on-the-Hill.
