Brian Wismath, Associate Conductor

Brian Wismath began his musical career as a chorister in the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, directed by Robert Cooper. After completing a Bachelor of Music degree at Queen's University, Brian received a Master of Music degree from the University of Arizona (choral conducting). He has studied conducting with Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, Dr. James Jordon, Robert Paige, Dale Warland, and Jon Washburn.

In January, 2006, Brian conducted the Vancouver Chamber Choir as a participant in the annual Conductor's Symposium broadcast on CBC radio and during the summer, he directed the Tucson Masterworks Chorale. In addition to his work with the Orpheus Choir, Brian is the operations manager of the Exultate Chamber Singers and coaches the Ismaili Youth Choir of Toronto.
